We will taste the era of the Medici Grand Duchy, going through the Napoleonic period and the years of Florence as capital of Italy.

The price is not per person but is referred to couples, families, or groups of friends up to 7 people.

For larger groups please contact us for a quotation.

The price does not include the cost of the ticket.

Within Palazzo Pitti you will be spoilt for choice! The building, which still carries the name of its first buyer, Luca Pitti, used to be the chief residence of the Medici, the Lorraine and the royal family and nowadays includes six museums: Galleria Palatina, Silver Museum, Costume Gallery, Porcelain Museum, Gallery of Modern Art and Carriages Museum.

If you are pleased to, this guided tour may be combined with a visit to the Silver Museum, the Costume Gallery, the Modern Art Gallery… or the Boboli Gardens, the Italian-style garden par excellence. The first grand duchess Eleonora di Toledo, depreciating Palazzo della Signoria, decided to buy and widen Palazzo Pitti and to create the gardens. Later, Palazzo Pitti became the grand dukes’ chief residence for the following centuries.
